Employers face an increasing number of lawsuits for failing to comply with the requirements of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and comparable state and local laws. FMLA training is an important step in educating managers and supervisors how to properly respond to employee requests for reasonable unpaid leave of absence for certain family and medical reasons.

Frequently Asked Questions

What about employees who don’t have access to a computer?

Our courses are smartphone and tablet-friendly for employees who do not typically work from a computer.

What if some of my employees need the Spanish version and others need the English version?

If you have employees that need the Spanish version, check the “Add Spanish version” option when making your purchase. All of your employees will be prompted to choose either the English or Spanish version when they begin their training. Offering both versions makes it easy for them to choose training in the language they are most comfortable with.

After my employees are notified of their training assignment, how long do they have to complete it?

Your employees will automatically be given 30 days to complete their training. If they do not complete the course in the 30-day window, they will receive an email reminder and will continue to have access to the course. The missed deadline will be noted in the report you receive at the 30-day mark.
