Company Appoints Jeffrey Frankel as Vice President of Marketing and Steven Palazzola as Director of Engineering

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA, February 6, 2018  Traliant, the market innovator in online compliance training, today announced two key appointments to its leadership team to support the company’s rapid growth. Jeffrey Frankel joins Traliant as Vice President of Marketing, and Steve Palazzola joins as Director of Engineering.

Adding these two executive positions reflects the strong customer demand for Traliant’s modern approach to compliance training that focuses on changing behaviors and attitudes, rather than memorizing laws and avoiding liability.

“Jeff and Steve are strong additions to our team, as we build upon our great customer relationships and take the company to the next level,” said Mike Pallatta, Traliant’s Chief Executive Officer. “Their experience, enthusiasm and outstanding track records will help us capitalize on the tremendous opportunities in the compliance training market.”

In his new role, Frankel will be responsible for all aspects of marketing, including demand generation, brand awareness, communications and thought leadership. Previously, he served as Global Vice President of Marketing for Compliance Learning at Thomson Reuters. Before that, he led the marketing organization at WeComply, a compliance eLearning provider that was acquired by Thomson Reuters in 2013.

As Director of Engineering, Palazzola will manage the development of LMS desktop and mobile applications for Traliant’s suite of eLearning courses. He will also be responsible for the company’s hosted operations, including infrastructure, deployments and security. Prior, Palazzola held management positions as State Street and Upland RightAnswers, where he led the design and development of enterprise applications on various platforms.

In 2017, more than 300 organizations chose Traliant as their training partner for Preventing Discrimination and Harassment, Code of Conduct, HIPAA, Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption (FCPA), and Data Privacy and Information Security.
