Harassment prevention
MANHATTAN BEACH, CA, February 1, 2017 – Traliant, a leader in interactive online compliance training, announced today that Anil D’Souza has joined its team as VP, Learning. Over the past 20 years D’Souza has instructionally authored over 800 learner hours of blended learning programs, focusing primarily on ethics and regulatory compliance topics. He has designed programs for a variety of progressive, international organizations including such firms as JPMorgan Chase, Standard Chartered Bank and General Electric. Prior to joining Traliant, he was the Director of Products, Quality and Innovation in the compliance learning division of Thomson Reuters.
“The challenge with compliance training is that nobody really wants to take it,” observed D’Souza. “Since staff motivation is typically low, the training must be relevant, engaging and interactive if it is to be effective. If eLearning can also be adapted to an organization’s look, feel and vocabulary, it further enhances effectiveness as people tune-out when training doesn’t appear to be relevant to them. Traliant has wrapped these important concepts into a big vision of taking compliance training ‘from boring to brilliant,’ and I’m very excited to be able to help bring this vision to life.”
Andrew Rawson, Traliant’s CMO, further commented, “I worked with Anil previously and his ability to lead a team of instructional designers, subject matter experts, graphic designers and course developers to rapidly build highly engaging, media rich compliance training is without parallel.”
Traliant launched its Preventing Discrimination and Harassment Suite in December 2016. A Code of Conduct training suite will be available in March 2017.
