Sixth Circuit Challenges NLRB’s Cemex Union Recognition Standard

In December 2025, President Trump issued an Executive Order directing federal agencies to evaluate AI oversight and consider a more coordinated federal approach. The Order does not create new employer obligations, set national AI standards, or override state AI laws. Employers do not need to change AI practices based solely on the Order but should continue complying with applicable state laws and existing federal requirements while monitoring future federal action.
